Now that Valve is getting into the Halloween spirit, perhaps the Halloween maps could be made available on a pub server perhaps? Could be just one though, but it would be nice to do the thriller taunt on koth harvest event map.

We’re going to be launching some new Halloween content in the near future and wanted to give you all a quick heads-up. There will be random gift drops, but this year we are requiring that participants register their servers. By registering, your server will also be included in matchmaking, which will potentially drive traffic to you. You still have plenty of time, as this change won’t be going live until next week
There has been a lot of debate on the above, I believe we might be able to host the maps, but then you dont get the gifts, and if you do want the gifts, then we will be getting an influx of Ints into the servers. I will read up more about it.
I was not aware of a Halloween server. Well, I do not see it in the server explorer though. I do see that there is a custom map server listed on this site, but once again it does not show up in the explorer, and if I try to connect through the console, I get told that the server is an older version.
I would love to play on different maps and even different games modes, like the pyro tennis where there is a homing rocket, and I think that I am not the only one as epicsa's trade server has seen a lot of traffic. It is something different to the usual same old play.
Perhaps a poll could be started to find out what the community is looking for?

I'm sure that most would want the drops, but your servers are full enough without the international attention.
My original thought was just making the maps available to be nominated though.
Any idea what are the Halloween maps/ is it the same as last year
I'm not sure, I think that if there is a new map, then it will be released closer to the event "going live".

The Halloween update hasnt been released yet, it will go live in about 5 days or so, when this happens, 2 of the IS servers will change to Halloween.
