The Right Words

So you can type "wtf" and "stfu" and "gtfo" and "bfs" and "fu" and the list goes on but the moment you type p 0 3 5 then you get banned? WTF is up with that?

And best of all I did not type it next to each other, each digit individually. And the reply I get from "The Head Admin" is that my ban has been extended to one month because its my fourth language ban. The previous ban was for typing "c===8" hahaha. What a ridiculous thing to ban someone for. I'm so pissed off but at the same time I'm laughing cause I'm sure the admins know they're being ridiculous.

Haha bro 80% of the players on css swear like troopers. Whether its on the mic or chat... if you get caught u just unlucky. Cuz if every1 got banned like they are supposed to.. the IS servers would become empty and non-existant.

The reason why you don't get banned for the above mentioned is because:

wtf = Why The Face

stfu = Southern Tenant Farmers Union

gtfo = Get That Frustration Out

bfs = Bad Frag Steal

fu = Faulty USP

Hey Lovecraft,

I have a very good idea what those letters together mean. If you don't then you need to brush up on your language. It is unacceptable to use language like that on the ISGaming servers. We have young people and ladies on the servers. If you do not have the common decency to respect other people you are not welcome here.

I have instructed my admins to immediately ban when words like that is used on the servers. No warnings, no discussion.

Hope that clears this up for you.

I am with Lovecraft on this one. I am not a big fan of cursing on the servers but every now and again a guy cries out a few words in the moment after being pwned and I don’t have a problem with it. I have a problem with it when ppl start cursing at each other the whole time but a few angry words is all part of fps games. As for little children and females…if they want a clean game go play Sims, on the CSS box set it clearly displays the age restriction and mentions that this game is for a mature crowd. IMHO if parents can’t keep their little ones from playing 16+ restricted games online it should not be the adult player’s problem. I’m not rebelling against the administrators, just saying

I agree with what you say... You could say "Sure, swearing is ok every now and then". The problem is people don't know where to draw the line. So swearing shouldn't be allowed. I also don't want to make it a strict environment... so if it does slip sometimes then it's different.

By typing it is premeditated and there is no excuse for that.

Lol I get what you're saying but my whole problem with all of this is that it is not a word and no word could be made out seeing as there were server messages in between the digits in the first place and the digits were typed individually. And I did not say something over the mic so people could hear me? And its not letters except for "p" the rest were digits : 0,3,5,3. So I really can't agree with you cause it wasn't typed next to each other AND its not even a real word AND if I were from Holland I'd be talking about a cat. And you say you have a good idea what it spells out - well that is not a valid argument. Everyone knows what "wtf" means but you are still allowed to type it.

I know I'm complaining a lot but I just find it completely ridiculous. Typing p035 is the same as censoring it like this "p**s" which is normally acceptable to admins EXCEPT most probably to Rob_Anybody who banned a fellow player of mine a while back because he was "suspecting" him of using an aimbot. No recordings reviewed or gameplay or anything - just banned him in-game because he had his suspicions. And I'm sure you remember this incident Davin. That's outright abuse of power. And he strikes again and again. All the other admins give warnings before banning when it comes to language and I know you're gonna say it's my 4th offense but I'm not talking about me - I'm talking about other people too and who's to say the admin knows of the specific player's amount of offenses. And believe it or not some new players don't know they aren't allowed to use offensive language and it's all good an well to say everyone is "fully aware of the ROE" but that's bs cause some people don't even know about the ROE or what it is or that it exists - they just came to play.

Sometimes I wish that it would at least feel like you care about the player's opinion.It seriously feels like you always back the admin's decision blindly no matter what. No offense to anyone.

But did you review the chat and then ban me? Uh no you didn't. Did you ban me for typing p035. Uh yes you did. Did you go through the whole team's chat to check who was swearing. Uh no you didn't. So don't justify it. If you were banning me for typing "poes" it would not have been for an hour only. So yeah you still abuse your power in my eyes.

And please don't tell me to grow up boy, you get a little power in a game then you think you're some kind of God and nobody can do anything when the big bad admin in online.Sucks playing this game with people like you.
