Yes I agree with the above post. There are far to many players kicking players just so that their friends can join. This Vote Kick Function is being abused and should somehow be limited to maybe only change map and change difficulty.

I have also seen this happen and yes it is very unfair seeing as all players have an equal right to be on the server if they are playing by the rules. Disabling the kick feature is not the best solution as there will be no way to get rid of disruptive players... The only solution I can think of is by trying to encourage the players to be fair which is easier said than done…

Maybe Disable the Kick Feature and enable a client timeout if Idle for 5min or something to that effect

I have only experienced being kicked when i set the entire team on fire while they took cover in a closet. I hate closet camping, and thus saw it fit to burn them.

I have to agree with what has been said above. Everyone has an equal right on the servers and so people abusing the servers must be dealt with. Unfortunately we can not sort these people out without any evidence so the next time it happens take the players name that kicked a person for no reason and the persons name that was kicked with a screen shot of this and e-mail this to the gamesmaster.

On the matter of kicking idle players there is already a kicking system in place, I am unsure as to how long the player must be idle for to be kicked. I stand to be corrected but as far as I was aware it was 5min.

I hope this has sorted out some of the problems. I will also look into this matter about players being kicked for no reason at all. I will relay any information I receive on this matter.

I have addressed this matter with the admins and it shouldn't happen again. Also, I have removed the ability for players to sit in the spectators slots. This isn't in effect yet but should be by tomorrow morning.

Sometimes they just kick someone so a friend can join. I was asked to do this last night but turned my buddy down simply because its bad form and the other players have just as much right as anyone else.
