Good day,
We have received an update from TENET
on the Seacom cable fault. According to an unofficial Seacom discussion,
the cable repair is on track to be completed by the end of the 22nd of
July, ie today. An official statement from
Seacom is expected later today.
Once the cable repair has been
completed and TENET has resumed service over Seacom, all emergency
blocks will be lifted. Please note that existing computer laboratory
blocks will remain in place as organized with ICT Services.
