The preparations for the promising TF2CSA 6v6 Series on it’s second edition is already on the works with some awesome news. The kick off of this competitions will take place where most of TF2 players (students) might be on holidays as the World Cup will be taking place so we decided that the Sunday 13th of June would be a good time to kick off and be able to play most of the games during the World Cup period to avoid any problems with the unavailability of the players.
We might be looking to play 3 games per week though we still to decide if we should play scheduled Match Days or let teams schedule their 3 games per week. Also this time we will use “Maps of the Week” pre selected by the competition admins after the list of maps to be used are selected with team captains and we going to review some parts of the rule set for this competition like the unlocks allowed and so on (All this will be discussed with the team captains shortly).
And the great news are the availability of prizes for the Top 3 teams in this competition though the requirement to make this happen will be a minimum of 12 teams registered. This will be a good opportunity to try once again to give to the TF2 players some hope that still worth to play this awesome game in South Africa and keep having fun at the competitive level.

NB: For new teams to enter, they will need prove that are serious by having to play a minimum of five games played against existing teams (screenshots of results required), this is so that teams do not pull out of the competition after been steamrolled on the first match to know what to expect on levels of skill and to find out that if the team has the right balance of players before they rage quit.
In other news the TF2CSA website will have a new design upgrade shortly and the integration of an automated ladder system for players to manage their teams and be able to challenge other teams to participate on a new ranking system based on the results of the challenges.
