Surely if only the person who created the topic can delete it (or another admin), then it isn't censoring? Or am I wrong?

I start a thread and 60 pages on Vrikkidel informs the world of my porn addiction. I delete the thread so nobody can see it.
60 pages worth of coversation is lost. Something a Mod could have fixed with one post delete.

Corne every forum has a deletion option, So why not this 1?

No, every forum does NOT have one. Being on about 10 of them and having had my own I think I should know ;)
I bet they all do have them.. they are just being disabled by default.. and admins on there are 2 nooby to enable

We can't have people going around and deleting their posts at random. It totally defaces the forum. If you have a problem with something, email or PM one of us and we will sort it out.
There has to be some sort of forum control and the "delete option" can get very messy.
