Hi guyz,
Recently bought 1.6 to get away from source. Installed it etc, opened it up. Joined a server and saw my guy was left handed. So i selected for right hand, applied, and nothing worked. I tried changing in console, didnt work, i restarted cs, i restarted machine didnt work. The with regards to ping, i get about 32 on source. So i join cs and type in /setrates and select option 4.
I have ping of 212+ and still left handed, any1 know how to fix this?

It is running the game in software mode. Just go change the video settings to OpenGL, then it will work.

nvm , i did that then cs closes, then when it reopens i have to reset everything agen,
going in a circle..
You should just need to got to settings>Video>Renderer
The renderer should be set to "OpenGL', if it keeps setting it back to "Software" then your Graphics Card drivers might need to be updated. If that doesnt work then I have no idea sorry man.
