Wits University Wargames Club, an affiliate of Mind Sports South Africa, will be hosting the first South African Heroes of
Newerth (HoN) LAN tournament.

 

The tournament is sponsored by S2 Games. 

 

This tournament is shall be held on Saturday, 13 March 2010 at the Old Mutual Sports Hall on the Wits University Campus, Johannesburg.

 

This LAN tournament is a groundbreaking event as it will allow South African gamers and teams compete online and at a LAN event simultaneously for the first time ever

 

Not only that, but the Lair will administer the tournament and the network will be provided by Mayhem to ensure that an event of the highest order is presented to the South African gamer. 

 

However, space is limited, and registration will be limited to the first 16 teams.

 

S2 Games will be sponsoring the first place prize of the Rand equivalent of $300.00 cash and 5 free pre-paid HoN Accounts.
