I joined one of your 3 new Versus servers for Left4Dead just now, but it still seems to be only cooperative for only for players. Is there something I should change once I'm on the server or is it supposed to be a 8-player game already? I also tried going back to lobby to change stuff, but I could only change the campaign and it was still for only 4 players. Help on this please...

Sorry that it's me again...

Me and a few guys were playing on a Versus server and we wanted more people to join. When the other guys tried to connect the server told them that the server is already full, even though there were only four players on the server. I thought maybe it is the max players on the server setting that might still be on four or something... I don't know...

And another problem was that the infected ladders didn't show, we had to guess where it was. But I don't know if that's a server problem.

And another thing, it seems as if two of the versus servers are in cooperative mode.

I definitely think the problem is that the max players allowed are set on 4.

Were you guys playing the 2 compaigns No mercy and Dead harvest? Those are the vanilla ones. If not, this can explain why you did not see the zombie ladders because the other 2 campaigns are not prepared for verus mode yet.

Just another thing. I noticed the other night that one of the versus servers had the coop maps on the versus mode. Please just confirm that the versus servers map cycles have _vs_ in them.

Its possible that someone callvoted to those maps. Thought i just mentioned it, but as a afterword the maps were fine last night.

Please restart the VS servers. No one can join them. Its stuck on some coop map, refusing connections to it.

Yeah, I also get that. We can't join the versus servers now at all. So we'll be waiting to hear from you guys.

Is there any way to jus tremove these maps from the cycle?

They are not a part of the map cycle. Something else is at play. I think it might be players callvoting via the console.

I will go read up on it at steam and see if anyone else is getting this.

I see the servers went silly again... :'(

There is only one of the servers I'm able to join: VS server HARD 2, but it will only take 4 players in total. The other two throws me into a lobby and tells me it can't find dedicated server.

I know you guys are looking for an answer.
